Volunteer Building Cambodia Community Centre
Volunteer Building Cambodia Community Centre (VBCCC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2017 by the Cambodian Mr. Sinn Meang. The NGO is located in the rural area of Bakong village, Siem Reap with a mission to provide opportunities to students and local communities through a series of skills such as English language, computer basics, and vocational training to improve their standard of living. We believe the key to reducing the rate of poverty starts with education as it is proven to increase employment opportunities for individuals to secure a decent job with a good income. However, in Cambodia, the opportunity to learn is not available to everyone, especially those who are living in rural areas or belong to underprivileged backgrounds. As a result, many people remain either jobless or struggle with an unskilled labor job profile. Volunteering with or donating to VBCCC is a way for you to improve the life of each of our students, their families - and the prosperity of our community and Cambodia itself.
VISION
Our vision is to improve the literacy and employment skills of Cambodian families and communities through the various programmes we provide at VBC Community Centre. These skills will increase income levels and break the poverty cycle for many Cambodian families. We aspire to be a model school in terms of high-quality teaching and education programmes, the children’s learning characteristics and taking care of the environment.
MISSION
