Challenge

English, as a global language, holds immense significance in today's world. It is important in many areas, from everyday communication, professional communication to personal research endeavors. In Cambodia, there is a high demand for people with the ability to speak English fluently. Unfortunately, the majority of the children who are living in our community are not taught English. This is one of the main challenges that prohibits our younger generation to get out of poverty and create better opportunities for themselves. 

 

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide English skills to underprivileged Cambodian children in rural areas, offering them not only competent communication skills but also the opportunity to secure good jobs and access a wider array of opportunities.

This ensures that underprivileged children and young adults have access to standard English courses, complete with effective techniques and well-crafted study materials to enhance their learning experience.

 

Our English Classes (main activities)

1. Pre-School: This program is focused on a creative and balanced curriculum fostering an environment where children learn through play and exploration. This approach not only makes learning enjoyable but also promotes their physical, emotional, and social development."
2. Starter: This program provides young learners with a solid foundation in English, encompassing reading, writing, visual aids, letter tracing, and a structured phonics curriculum, all designed to instill confidence. The course effectively progresses students from basic to beginner levels
3. New Headway Beginner: This program is focused on helping individuals develop conversational skills, attain basic general knowledge, practice grammar, and enhance their social skills. This course is suitable for both beginners and those who have some prior knowledge of English and wish to further improve their proficiency in the language.
4. New Headway Elementary: This program enables the students to refine their English proficiency through focused work on pronunciation, advanced grammar, discussions about lifestyles, broadening their general knowledge, engaging in seminar presentations, lively debates, conducting interviews, and conducting research. They will be able to engage in conversations, write, and speak at a higher level, and have a solid grasp of general knowledge. This level encourages a well-rounded and advanced command of the English language.
